I wanted to make a necklace with a stronger Chinese style. So, I first chose some ceramic beads with Chinese drawings and tried to work around them.
For once, I didn’t want to have a light color for the chain, so I took a black cord. And, as I wanted to add a colorful touch, I picked a red cord to remind the small seal we can find on the beads.

This necklace is made of two 2mm satin cords, a main black one and an extra red one, and a Chinese ceramic bead as the pendant.
It features Button knots and ceramic beads with Chinese drawings along the chain.
With sliding Button knots as a closure, this necklace offers you a great choice of length.

Each knot has its own meaning in the Chinese culture.
Thus, the Button knot is a symbol of good luck.
