My idea was to make a necklace less casual, one you can wear for a special occasion.
I love the more ‘formal’ effect that the crackled ceramic beads can give you, but too much those beads and the necklace was too heavy.
So, I alternate with floral metal beads for a lighter feeling.
And as I didn’t want to stay with too flat colors, I thought a good touch of bright coral and dark red was perfect with the whitish color of the beads.

This necklace is made of two 2mm satin cords, a dark red one and a coral one, and crackled ceramic beads mixed with antique silver plated spacer beads along the chain.
It features Button knots.

Each knot has its own meaning in the Chinese culture.
Thus, the Button knot is a symbol of good luck.
So, I hope this necklace, with all these Chinese knots, will be a good-luck charm to his wearer 😉
