I really like the Round Brocade knot and wanted to play with its floral shape. So I added a small spacer bead on each loop, and ended up playing with the purple color along the chain. The result is a simple and catchy flower necklace.

I also made a bracelet that’ll be perfect with this necklace.

This necklace is made of an ivory 2mm satin cord with a pearly thread and purple glass spacer beads.
It features a Round Brocade knot with small light purple glass spacer beads as the pendant, and Button knots with light and dark purple glass spacer beads as the chain.

Each knot has its own meaning in the Chinese culture. Thus, the Round Brocade knot, also known as Chinese Flower knot, represents good fortune and completeness. And the Button knot is a symbol of good luck.

So, by having these Chinese knots mixed together, I hope the wearer of this necklace will be the lucky one with good fortune 😉
