I really liked playing with the cords color. As I wanted the colors to mix together, I choose the pineapple knot for the chain, with just few metal spacer beads.
As for the pendant part, I tried to keep it simple, and ended up with a Pan Chang knot and a medium glass bead with metal spacer beads.

Set_16-(1) I also made a bracelet that’ll be perfect with this necklace.

This necklace is made of two 1.5mm satin cords, one light yellow and one silver, and a silver foil crystal bead with silver spacer beads as a pendant.
The chain features a Pan Chang knot as a central piece, tying the pendant, and Pineapple knots with silver spacer beads.

Each knot has its own meaning in the Chinese culture.
Thus, the Pan Chang knot is one of the eight Buddhist auspicious symbols, and represent the longevity. It is also used to represent the mysteries of the universe, and it is thought to bring good fortune to the wearer as well as those who view it.
And the Pineapple knot is considered a symbol of prosperity.
So, as a mix of these Chinese knots, I hope this necklace will be a lucky charm to its wearer, and this for a long prosperous life 😉

– chain length : about 41.5 cm / 16.34″
– pendant length : about 2.5 cm / 0.98″
